Plein air pastel "Fishhook Paint Out 2""

This is the second painting done on location for
the Blank Canvas Gallery's Plein Air Paint Out.
We chose this spot to set up and after a bit of rain
we had a nice sunny morning to paint. The company
of the other artists was fun and inspiring.This painting
is done on LaCarte pastel paper, which I found out the
hard way not to get wet, when it rained.

Plein air "Fishhook Paint Out 1"

This pastel painting was done on location last summer for
 The Blank Canvas Gallery's first Plein Air Paint Out.
A couple of fellow artists and I went out early morning to
scout an area to paint and found this spot on Fishhook River.

We promptly set up our easels and supplies and got started!
